Getting close to Thanksgiving

Hello Everyone,

I thought it would be great to update before Thanksgiving. I want to be more active on the web but I am really have a rough time with that. You would think that I would be better at this but hey what can I say.

Well I do have a plan. I don't know why I didn't do this before but I am going to start doing it now. At work I have a long meeting every Monday and I draw at them all the time. I know what you are thinking: "He isn't paying attention". That isn't true. If I don't draw then my mind starts to wonder so this is how I pay attention. So, I thought that you might be interested in see what comes out of my pen when I am at those meetings. Starting next Monday I am going to be starting Monday Meeting Drawing posts. Be on the look out for that.

In other news, I finished up the Marvel Premiere and Beginnings 3 set. I post images of the Premiere set over on my Facebook page. I am not allowed to post the Beginnings set yet. As soon as I can I will. I am going to be working with MNS toys on some Universal monsters sketch cards. I am really looking forward to doing something beyond Marvel. I never thought I would say something like that. I really like Marvel comics' characters but after four sets of 100 or more cards I can use a break.

One last thing about sketch cards. I am doing an audition to be part of the Walking Dead card set. Man that would be great. I never worked with Cryptazoic and I would really like to work with them. So keep your fingers crossed for me and wish me luck.

Now I guess you would like to see some art. Here you go.

This is a page that Elvin Hernandez and I did for a potential client. It was a test page and everything was done traditional. Pencil, Ink and Markers. This was the first time that we did an all traditional page. The potential client didn't like it so we moved on. I really like the way the page came out. Elvin agrees. I don't really know what they didn't like. The never contacted me back. So now you get to see the fruits of our labor. Hope you like it.

This is the cover that Elvin Hernandez and I did for a submission for G.I.Joe at IDW. We did a couple of pages for this submission and a cover. This cover was done all traditional. Pencil, Ink and Marker. We seemed to get some really good responses from the editors at IDW but we haven't landed work yet. I like the amount of people and details that Elvin put into this cover. Then again on the other hand I had to marker it and man it took a lot longer than I thought it was going to take, but the end result was well worth it. Let me know what you think.

I think that that is enough for today. I hope that you enjoy the art here. If you have any comments or questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Have a wonderful and a blessed and safe Thanksgiving.

Kaiser.
