Another post and it hasn't been a year yet.Hello Everyone,<br />
<br />
Convention season is upon us and now there are so many conventions to go to and see. I don't exactly know when the craze of creating conventions for people to go to happened but I have to say that I kind of like it. The ability to have a bit of variety in what convention I go to is great. No longer do I have to go all the way out to California to attend a bigger convention. Promoters are getting investors and the idea of a comic convention as an investment has proven to be very lucrative and desirable.<br />
<br />
With that said I was able to go to two absolutely fantastic conventions over the past couple of weeks. What makes it even better was that both of them were in Virginia/DC area. The first one that I went to was Tidewater Comic Con and the other was Awesome Con. I would like to talk about both of them separately because the both desire the attention.<br />
<br />
First Tidewater Comic Con.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This convention was absolutely one of my favorite cons to date and I have been to a bunch of conventions. I participated in the Kickstarter to get my tables for this convention. If I am not mistaken this is only their 3rd year, and for what Mike Federali was able to pull off is impressive.</div>
<br />
This convention is a true COMIC convention. I believe there were a total of 5 media guests, 1 wrestler and 1 cosplay guest. The rest of the guests were all comic professionals. There were very few vendors. There were a lot of artist in artist alley and a couple of comic related podcasters. It was great. No matter where you looked there were artists. The focus of this convention was to bring comic art and artist to the forefront and give fans the rare opportunity to spend time with the artists and get to know what goes into making comics.<br />
<br />
I was able to see some really cool artist friends of mine.<br />

There was plenty of space for fans to walk around without having to feel like they were cattle being herded to the slaughter. It was a very low key and pleasant feel to the entire atmosphere. Because there weren't a whole lot of celebrities for everyone to stand in line for the majority of the convention, everyone was able to go around and see everything. It was a different experience for me because I feel as though I saw the majority of the people that walked through the door. Especially cosplayers. Can I tell you that the cosplay at Tidewater Comic Con was on point. I would have to say that Tidewater really brought their "A" game when it came to cosplay. I was very impressed and I was glad that they were all able to come by my table. That isn't always the case with other conventions, as I tend to be bound to my table and don't have a lot of time to get up and walk around. So, it was very nice to get to see all the cosplay that was at Tidewater Comic Con.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
As you can see the cosplayers of Tidewater were no joke. They defiantly will be in my top three for cosplay at a convention. <br />
<br />
Oh I have to tell you about one of the celebrity that I got to meet. He was one of the nicest guys. Nothing like meeting someone who is of celebrity status and is still a cool human being. We did an art trade and he even threw in an autographed print for the animation club at my school. It was very generous of him.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
On top of all of this awesomeness of a convention that is for comics and comic artist the location of the convention was great as well. My hotel was about 5 minutes away from the convention center. The beach was right behind my hotel. I'm for some reason am not really a beach person. It isn't something that I go bananas over, but it was pretty cool to have the options if I wanted to go swimming in the ocean. I did take some pictures for reference so that was good.<br />
<br />
But that isn't really what I was floored by when I went walking around the area. I saw this.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HNDrXm-Vd04/V1ggiguaBHI/AAAAAAAABjs/4qhEY1L2eWUNxSl5ADLO_8kKHNeaVKKRQCLcB/s1600/20160522_080644_HDR.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HNDrXm-Vd04/V1ggiguaBHI/AAAAAAAABjs/4qhEY1L2eWUNxSl5ADLO_8kKHNeaVKKRQCLcB/s320/20160522_080644_HDR.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So, what is Flipper McCoys? It is an old school arcade. I didn't even think these were still around since Dave N Busters exploded on the scene. But, there it was, right in front of me and it was fantastic. I went in with Elvin Hernandez and they had a couple of newer games in the front but in the heart of the arcade was a mecca of old school arcade games. I felt like a kid again. It even had a fake shooting range. It was great. I had to leave quickly otherwise I would have probably spent all the money that I was making at the convention.<br />
<br />
As I was walking to see what else might be around I saw this.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-eftsQJT4P_k/V1ghSaN2NUI/AAAAAAAABj4/Wit2u6VV7B8L3gfhstJQq4k9WQC_IWaUACLcB/s1600/20160522_073106.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-eftsQJT4P_k/V1ghSaN2NUI/AAAAAAAABj4/Wit2u6VV7B8L3gfhstJQq4k9WQC_IWaUACLcB/s320/20160522_073106.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<br />
It was ANOTHER Arcade. I was at a loss for words. This convention was amaze-balls. This shopping complex also had mini golf and an indoor flea market. For those of you who know me know I love a good flea market. The only downside was that it wasn't open when I found this complex. Maybe next time.<br />
<br />
Now many of you might be saying to yourself yeah yeah yeah that's all well and good but did you make any money? Yes, yes I did. Everything that needed to happen for me to want to come back happened.<br />
<br />
Tidewater Comic Con and Mike Federali you have my pencil and marker and I will see you again next year. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this year's event.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Now one to the other convention that I went to in the last couple of days.<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This convention truly lives up to its name. I have been a guest at Awesome Con since its inception. The ability to watch this convention grow from a single room where everyone was cramped together and the fire marshal had to put a halt to people going into the convention to a full blown destination convention in just a few short years is amazing.</div>
<br />
I believe that Ben Penrod and his team put on a excellent experience for fans. Ben's approach is a bit different then Mike's. There is nothing wrong with what Awesome Con is doing it is just different then Tidewater. Awesome Con brings a bunch of guest to the table. They have big name comic artist and even bigger named celebrities. Ben constantly has the ability to bring people to his convention that most people can get, for instance Billie Piper from Doctor Who, Peter Capaldi from Doctor Who, Karl Urban from Dredd, Ray Park from Star Wars, Ron Perlman from Hellboy, Bill Nye the science guy, Summer Glau for Serenity, and many many more to even remember. The amount of talent that Ben is able to assemble for fans is amazing.<br />
<br />
Because of all that, the convention hall is pretty big which is normally a bit scary for me as an artist working artist alley. I am always worried that a convention that has so many celebrity guest and has a huge hall for a ton of vendors is going to hurt my financial standing at the convention, but this wasn't the case at awesome con. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I was surprised because last year I had booth and a game to sell; this year I had no game and only an artist alley table. Even though that was the case I did very well. It seems that AwesomeCon's reputation is a good one and people are coming with a lot of money to spend, not only on the celebrities but also on the artist that make the comics that they like so much.<br />
<br />
The one thing that was a bit sad for me was the fact that I didn't really get to see a lot of the cosplay that was walking around the convention. With the convention hall being so big it is easy to miss little ole me in the see of people. So I didn't get to take as many pictures that I would have liked, but here is what I did get.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I had speaking obligations at Awesome Con and I love doing lectures at conventions. I had a solo lecture on Proper Pitching and Promoting Yourself which went very well. The audience was engaged in the conversation and as time went on more and more people were showing up. Moments like this is what keeps me going. Being able to let people in on a little bit of knowledge that I have that they might not and to see the light bulb go off when that information sticks is a fantastic feeling.</div>
<br />
I also was able to be on a panel with some very important people (Breaking into comics and surviving). I have to say that I didn't feel as though I was supposed to be on that panel with those creators. None the less I was there and it was a good panel, even though I hate being on panels because everyone expects you to sit still and talk into the one mic that they have there and man let me tell you I am not the sit down and talk into a mic person. That isn't my style of instruction I like to move around. None the less it was awesome to be sitting on the panel with the caliber of artist that was on that panel.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For having this convention in my backyard is just icing on the cake. Having a convention that brings in so many people because of the celebrities and the art professionals and be able to go home and eat a home cooked meal and sleep in my own bed makes this my favorite convention to attend. I am so glad that someone else saw the importance of having and comic and pop culture convention in the DC area. Thank you very much Ben. You and your team are doing a phenomenal job. Keep it up and you have my pencil and marker as well and I will see you all next year.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you are in the the DMV area I highly recommend that you go to both of these conventions. Mike Federali and Ben Penrod deserve your support and if you want to see more conventions like this in your area then you are going to have to support the conventions that are just starting up. Both of these conventions started off small and now are powerhouses in the convention world. Go and support your local artists and conventions.</div>

<br />
I have neglected this blog for a very long time and for that I am sorry, but I just didn't know what to say. I can't really say that I know what to say now but I feel the need to update this blog more than once a year. I should be posting once a week now.<br />
<br />
What are we going to be talking about... well EVERYTHING. Mostly art stuff but nothing will be off limits on this blog. This is going to be where you will be able to get to know me a bit better. There is going to be a lot of behind the scenes information and pictures.<br />
<br />
With that said I want to start with HANDS.<br />
<br />
Let me tell you I suck and drawing hands. I don't know what it is but they are just so hard for me. I keep seeing other artist and Twitch streamers talk about it's simple. They refer to a pack of hot dogs and when they show it, it looks great and when I try the pack of hot dogs it just looks like poop. Well, I've decided to make a conscious effort to draw hands better. I plan on doing a lot of life drawing for hands. I am starting to believe that I just need to put in some more mileage behind my pencil when it comes to drawing hands, and yes FEET will be next because I suck at those as well.<br />
<br />
Here are some examples of the drawings and sketches I have done over the past few days.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The purple hands are the most recent. As you can see they are getting better but still. I have a long way to go. Another thing that I noticed is that there are a lot of how to draw hand tutorials all over the place but they really only go into the construction of a hand which is great until you need to render them out or make them stylized. Not only do I want to try and perfect the construction but I really also want to be able to stylize my hands so that when it comes time to draw my comics they will look like they fit into the world. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
One last thing that I will start working on is fingernails. For those of you who know my work will know that I don't really draw fingernails on my characters. For some reason they just look strange to me so I don't draw them. I know, I know it doesn't make sense, that is why I am going to start trying to put those into my drawings.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I will post my hand drawings from time to time just to keep you all updated on my progress.</div>
<br />
I think that this is a long enough post so I will see you at the next post.<br />

<br />
As most of you know, those who know me, I am the creator of an RPCG called Dark Legacy. The one thing that I wanted to really push about Dark Legacy is the Role Playing aspect of this card game. It is truly one of the aspects of the game that sets it apart. Now with that said, NO you don't have to Role Play to play the game, but it does add to it.<br /><br />I play a character by the name of Kierra Fallon and she came across an ancient book that has been influencing her towards evil. I was tiered of just telling people that she had a book and I didn't have one. I did have a hollow book that I bought from Michael's that was a place holder for what I created here. You can see that book in the image below with all my supplies.<br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FCeHnwHTtbk/Vri3yYix1XI/AAAAAAAABZY/L76TqvT0eJ4/s1600/20151031_135543.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FCeHnwHTtbk/Vri3yYix1XI/AAAAAAAABZY/L76TqvT0eJ4/s320/20151031_135543.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
All of the things that are in the image above except for the bed sheet, which was bought at Target, was bought from Micheal's. I have to say I love going there. It is a very dangerous place for me because I always find things that I want to buy and try and make something with. Anyway lets move on to the steps of creation Kierra's book of EVIL.<br />
<br />
The first thing that I did was cut up the bed sheet because it was way to big for what I needed. Once it was cut to the size that I needed, I wrapped the hollow book and glued the edges with fabric glue. I never used fabric glue before buy my wife said that it was what I should be using and man, was she right. I tried using crazy glue and it just didn't work. So, if you are using fabric and you want to glue it to anything, use fabric glue.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eTNI5Ofq3pI/Vri6zW3xGTI/AAAAAAAABZ0/4fQqqCb3OBc/s1600/20151031_144430_HDR.jpg" imageanchor="1"></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bgF4Z-iBjRA/Vri61m4kVwI/AAAAAAAABZ8/TBMCvUeZT-g/s1600/20151031_144424_HDR.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bgF4Z-iBjRA/Vri61m4kVwI/AAAAAAAABZ8/TBMCvUeZT-g/s320/20151031_144424_HDR.jpg" width="320" /></a><img border="0" height="180" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eTNI5Ofq3pI/Vri6zW3xGTI/AAAAAAAABZ0/4fQqqCb3OBc/s320/20151031_144430_HDR.jpg" width="320" /><br />
<br />
This process was probably the easiest, which let me tell you I really didn't think it would be. Now what to do with the book. I first thought that I would cut a hole in the cover of the book and have the skull protrude through the cover. Then I realized that I would have had to cut the hole in the cover before I wrapped it. So instead I thought I would glue it on the top of the cover.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mM0aele9agI/VrjzUILrguI/AAAAAAAABaM/qScBs9lxu7o/s1600/20151031_145930.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mM0aele9agI/VrjzUILrguI/AAAAAAAABaM/qScBs9lxu7o/s320/20151031_145930.jpg" width="320" /></a><br /><br />
I cut it in half and yes the skull was/is made out of Styrofoam. Let me tell you that if you are not ready to have Styrofoam bits all over everything then I would recommend that you don't cut anything in half that is Styrofoam. It was like it was magnetic. It stuck to everything. It drove me crazy. On to attaching the skull to the book.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-towKeiTB26o/Vrjz1j9JWiI/AAAAAAAABaU/mJIqyYiPcAo/s1600/20151031_211825.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-towKeiTB26o/Vrjz1j9JWiI/AAAAAAAABaU/mJIqyYiPcAo/s320/20151031_211825.jpg" width="320" /></a><br /><br />Tool of choice: Gorilla Glue. You have to be careful wit this stuff it is very strong. I had glue on my fingers for days, but it attached the skull to the cloth and the cover of the book just fine.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-09V0SEV0rK8/Vrj0NLIM6mI/AAAAAAAABac/UpLFygAp9g4/s1600/20151031_211837.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-09V0SEV0rK8/Vrj0NLIM6mI/AAAAAAAABac/UpLFygAp9g4/s320/20151031_211837.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DBD2yyM2UtE/Vrj0QiuEjhI/AAAAAAAABak/YQtlfwTSGRE/s1600/20151031_211854.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DBD2yyM2UtE/Vrj0QiuEjhI/AAAAAAAABak/YQtlfwTSGRE/s320/20151031_211854.jpg" width="180" /></a><br />
<br />
I may have gotten a bit to happy with the glue. As you can see it dripped from behind the skull and down the book. I was freaking out at this point. I had ruined the book...and then I got over it. I figured I will be able to cover it up some how.<br /><br />Now I seem to have forgotten to take pictures of the why I am doing the next step but I will just tell you why I wanted to drill through the eyes of the skull. LIGHTS!!! I wanted the eyes to glow so I needed to have some hole to make sure that could happen.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tzsYyHJI5B4/Vrj01J41rGI/AAAAAAAABas/cUwVjSRKN1Q/s1600/20151101_091211.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tzsYyHJI5B4/Vrj01J41rGI/AAAAAAAABas/cUwVjSRKN1Q/s320/20151101_091211.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_UqWLyMYX9g/Vrj05Za_qyI/AAAAAAAABa4/6KR9Y7ulnjM/s1600/20151101_091232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_UqWLyMYX9g/Vrj05Za_qyI/AAAAAAAABa4/6KR9Y7ulnjM/s320/20151101_091232.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
I was truly having fun at this point and yet I had no idea if it was going to turn out ok. I now had this really weird looking skull on the front of my book and it really didn't strike me as evil or even scary. I needed to do something about that. At Micheal's I bough this tablecloth lace/mesh. I assumed that it would make it look like the skull was trying to come out of the book. After I put it on, it just didn't look right. I decided to distress the mesh and make it look like it had been around for a while. Give it and old timely feeling. I liked the way it looked. What do you think?<br />
<br />
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yOMNrtB1siE/Vrj12k5ZNAI/AAAAAAAABbA/EQM0uzfoLTk/s1600/20151102_182217.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yOMNrtB1siE/Vrj12k5ZNAI/AAAAAAAABbA/EQM0uzfoLTk/s320/20151102_182217.jpg" width="180" /></a><br />
<br />
Time to make it look more like a book with some edge trimmings.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ENl6WHDqgQ4/Vrj2UeF5LSI/AAAAAAAABbI/5_gcKYsbpSs/s1600/20151102_182234.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ENl6WHDqgQ4/Vrj2UeF5LSI/AAAAAAAABbI/5_gcKYsbpSs/s320/20151102_182234.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VQfVNVi9vhw/Vrj2WjTBRhI/AAAAAAAABbQ/cuq3MRFtFMg/s1600/20151102_182244.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VQfVNVi9vhw/Vrj2WjTBRhI/AAAAAAAABbQ/cuq3MRFtFMg/s320/20151102_182244.jpg" width="180" /></a><br />
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jukUCV2D_ck/Vrj2Y-_-n4I/AAAAAAAABbY/pshEFdG_rFo/s1600/20151102_182248.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jukUCV2D_ck/Vrj2Y-_-n4I/AAAAAAAABbY/pshEFdG_rFo/s320/20151102_182248.jpg" width="180" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0dK3QYvMLXk/Vrj2bW7m9fI/AAAAAAAABbg/dkTqo4mwtx4/s1600/20151102_182155_HDR.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0dK3QYvMLXk/Vrj2bW7m9fI/AAAAAAAABbg/dkTqo4mwtx4/s320/20151102_182155_HDR.jpg" width="180" /></a><br />
<br />
At this point I needed to have some things that hang from the book. For no real reason except that it is always creepy then the scary bad guy is shuffling around and you hear the clanking of all the extras that are hanging from their body or the stuff that they are carrying.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7IKVFRVqJlM/Vrj3C08OCfI/AAAAAAAABbo/Tu9iP5gZ8kU/s1600/20151102_214046.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7IKVFRVqJlM/Vrj3C08OCfI/AAAAAAAABbo/Tu9iP5gZ8kU/s320/20151102_214046.jpg" width="180" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o0eUGk-ypbQ/Vrj3IC1HEwI/AAAAAAAABbw/LIoyB5OFcLs/s1600/20151102_230028_HDR.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o0eUGk-ypbQ/Vrj3IC1HEwI/AAAAAAAABbw/LIoyB5OFcLs/s320/20151102_230028_HDR.jpg" width="180" /></a><br />
<br />
Now we are talking. Black beads and skulls, yep that is what I'm talking about. Once again all these things were bought from Micheal's. I now wanted to make the "pages" of the book look like pages from a very old book. This wasn't exactly easy because will there weren't any actual pages so I had to cut them in. I also thought "hey it's paper." I could burn some of it to make it have more texture to it.<br /><br />
Well there is a lot of wax on these fake books. Nothing burned down but it took a very long time to singe that book.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NsQ5rZMCYI4/Vrj3yP4KHhI/AAAAAAAABb8/vKEMkSR9jHA/s1600/20151105_215253.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NsQ5rZMCYI4/Vrj3yP4KHhI/AAAAAAAABb8/vKEMkSR9jHA/s320/20151105_215253.jpg" width="180" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-u8O2c1SKj88/Vrj324PpbII/AAAAAAAABcE/-OS6snsE-QA/s1600/20151105_234219.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-u8O2c1SKj88/Vrj324PpbII/AAAAAAAABcE/-OS6snsE-QA/s320/20151105_234219.jpg" width="180" /></a><br />
<br />
Now it's time to add some useless extras.<br /><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xOxJEl3fVDI/Vrj4DHCEa_I/AAAAAAAABcM/SU9wzKHghus/s1600/20151105_215814.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xOxJEl3fVDI/Vrj4DHCEa_I/AAAAAAAABcM/SU9wzKHghus/s320/20151105_215814.jpg" width="180" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XbnDY7qXldA/Vrj4GMhYhcI/AAAAAAAABcU/R7k72zZKMVQ/s1600/20151105_221134.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XbnDY7qXldA/Vrj4GMhYhcI/AAAAAAAABcU/R7k72zZKMVQ/s320/20151105_221134.jpg" width="180" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nPb204KMth8/Vrj4LKPas6I/AAAAAAAABck/oqFwUS9gbqw/s1600/20151105_221751.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nPb204KMth8/Vrj4LKPas6I/AAAAAAAABck/oqFwUS9gbqw/s320/20151105_221751.jpg" width="180" /></a><br />

At this point I had been working on this book for far too long, but it still didn't feel finished. I still wanted it to feel more old and well...evil. It was time to reach for the cobwebs. My wife wasn't to happy that I got this stuff but man does it add the effect that I was after.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4u-MeDOcU1E/Vrj4llsjTgI/AAAAAAAABcs/0wd5BI9nWO8/s1600/20151105_235600.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4u-MeDOcU1E/Vrj4llsjTgI/AAAAAAAABcs/0wd5BI9nWO8/s320/20151105_235600.jpg" width="180" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-orhjSrlfH0U/Vrj4ovTa1SI/AAAAAAAABc0/9J-xIsL0Mbg/s1600/20151105_235607.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-orhjSrlfH0U/Vrj4ovTa1SI/AAAAAAAABc0/9J-xIsL0Mbg/s320/20151105_235607.jpg" width="180" /></a><br />
<br />
In the end this was a fun experience. A lot of learning happened. A lot of clean up and a lot of prying my fingers apart from glue. The end result was worth it. I am very glad that I made this prop for my character in Dark Legacy. Check out what it looked like all put together.<br />

For those of you who are thinking about making something for your characters in Dark Legacy or just cosplay in general I recommend you go for. It adds so much to your character, I am glad that I did.<br />Well I guess that is all for the creation of Kierra's book. If and when I make something else I will be sure to let you all know. Thanks for stopping by and OH, WAIT!!!<br /><br />You all haven't seen the book with the lights on. Wait till you see this.<br />

I am no where close to being a professional prop maker but this was a lot of fun and the payoff was great. The book was well received at the Dark Legacy tournament. Once again if you are thinking about doing something like this, do it. You will be happy that you did.<br /><br />Thanks for checking out this post and I hope to see you in the next one.<br />Kaiser.Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-46595857248147044422015-07-19T21:18:00.002-04:002015-07-19T21:18:34.886-04:00Starting the Blog back up.Hello Everyone,<br />
<br />
I noticed that my last post was in 2012. That is just a shame. Sorry about that.<br /><br />So what does this mean. Well I am going to start posting here again. I have realized that I was always trying to come up with something very important to say, something that would, I don't know, help or inspire people and well I don't always have those things to say.<br /><br />I think I am going to go in a new direction and make this more of my journal. A place where I can go and put down my thoughts on what is going on in the world, put my art in front of people and maybe even help and inspire someone.<br /><br />I am going to keep this one short and sweet.<br />See you with the next post.<br />Kaiser.Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-51588153505965869222012-12-21T14:39:00.002-05:002012-12-21T14:41:17.483-05:00What happened to the Monday Meeting posts?Hello Everyone.<br />
<br />
To answer my own question, since I posted the first Monday meeting post I didn't have any Monday meetings. It was rather funny. School is going to be starting back up on the 7th of January. Since it is the first week of the quarter I don't think we are going to have a meeting on that Monday but the next week we will. So that means that Monday meeting notes will start over again on the 14ht of January.<br />
<br />
Here is something completely different. Dark Legacy: The Rising was released in the New York Comic Con in November. Since then well nothing much has happened in terms of marketing or promotion because I was waiting until the new year. Starting in January you will be seeing a lot more post on Facebook, Twitter (@ksp_darklegacy) and the this blog about Dark Legacy. I am supper excited about this product. I can't wait to go on tour with it. The first big convention Dark Legacy will be at is Megacon in Orlando Florida March 14-16th. It is going to be fantastic. I have a lot of exclusives that I am going to be giving away. If you can make it to Florida come find me. I will be battling with Magic the Gathering in the gaming section.<br />
<br />
Even though I haven't don't any true marketing and promotion, some of my students got wind of this game and bought some of the decks and started playing. Since that day it has started to spread like wildfire. I was very ecstatic to see people playing the game even though I didn't set it up. It made me think that I have something good going on here. Because of that I decided to host the first ever Dark Legacy Tournament.<br />
<br />
It was very short notice but there were 11 participates at this Tournament and a few other people told me that they would have been there but because of the short notice they missed it. Oh well I will have to get them on the next one. But, even though it was short notice the tournament lasted for eight hours. It was a fantastic event. I would like to thank everyone who participated in this event. For those of you who were wondering if there were prizes for the top players...yes there were. Some pretty good ones if I might add. If you want to know what they were come to the next tournament and ask me. I will be more than happy to tell you.<br />
<br />

<br />
As I promised here is the Monday Meeting Notes from today. I sit and doodle in every meeting to ensure that I pay attention. If I don't my mind wanders and I don't really pay attention. Thought it would be interesting to show people what doodles actually come out of my meetings.<br />
<br />
There is no reason or rhyme behind these drawings. I just put the pencil or the pen to paper and this is what came out. Enjoy.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s3D5sYn3Hoc/ULPHtE-IgfI/AAAAAAAAAio/PI8__zOU5Qc/s1600/monday-meeting-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s3D5sYn3Hoc/ULPHtE-IgfI/AAAAAAAAAio/PI8__zOU5Qc/s320/monday-meeting-1.jpg" width="247" /></a></div>
<br />
Make sure to come back next monday to see what will be produced during next Monday's meeting.<br />Thanks for looking<br /><br />Kaiser<br />

<br />
I thought it would be great to update before Thanksgiving. I want to be more active on the web but I am really have a rough time with that. You would think that I would be better at this but hey what can I say.<br /><br />Well I do have a plan. I don't know why I didn't do this before but I am going to start doing it now. At work I have a long meeting every Monday and I draw at them all the time. I know what you are thinking: "He isn't paying attention". That isn't true. If I don't draw then my mind starts to wonder so this is how I pay attention. So, I thought that you might be interested in see what comes out of my pen when I am at those meetings. Starting next Monday I am going to be starting Monday Meeting Drawing posts. Be on the look out for that.<br />
<br />
In other news, I finished up the Marvel Premiere and Beginnings 3 set. I post images of the Premiere set over on my Facebook page. I am not allowed to post the Beginnings set yet. As soon as I can I will. I am going to be working with MNS toys on some Universal monsters sketch cards. I am really looking forward to doing something beyond Marvel. I never thought I would say something like that. I really like Marvel comics' characters but after four sets of 100 or more cards I can use a break.<br />
<br />
One last thing about sketch cards. I am doing an audition to be part of the Walking Dead card set. Man that would be great. I never worked with Cryptazoic and I would really like to work with them. So keep your fingers crossed for me and wish me luck.<br />
<br />
Now I guess you would like to see some art. Here you go.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CJPNILd08Y8/UKuKx_q52GI/AAAAAAAAAiI/jZGXYksYrFc/s1600/preview+page-altered-web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CJPNILd08Y8/UKuKx_q52GI/AAAAAAAAAiI/jZGXYksYrFc/s320/preview+page-altered-web.jpg" width="211" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a page that Elvin Hernandez and I did for a potential client. It was a test page and everything was done traditional. Pencil, Ink and Markers. This was the first time that we did an all traditional page. The potential client didn't like it so we moved on. I really like the way the page came out. Elvin agrees. I don't really know what they didn't like. The never contacted me back. So now you get to see the fruits of our labor. Hope you like it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uLLB_lFhgCI/UKuK06dTj2I/AAAAAAAAAiQ/BWOACr17LR8/s1600/cover-email.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uLLB_lFhgCI/UKuK06dTj2I/AAAAAAAAAiQ/BWOACr17LR8/s320/cover-email.jpg" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the cover that Elvin Hernandez and I did for a submission for G.I.Joe at IDW. We did a couple of pages for this submission and a cover. This cover was done all traditional. Pencil, Ink and Marker. We seemed to get some really good responses from the editors at IDW but we haven't landed work yet. I like the amount of people and details that Elvin put into this cover. Then again on the other hand I had to marker it and man it took a lot longer than I thought it was going to take, but the end result was well worth it. Let me know what you think.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think that that is enough for today. I hope that you enjoy the art here. If you have any comments or questions please don't hesitate to contact me. <br /><br />Have a wonderful and a blessed and safe Thanksgiving.</div>

<br />
I have been away for a bit trying to ensure that the Dark Legacy game gets out as soon as possible. I have been hitting some speed bumps along the way, but I think that I am coming to the end of that road and the game is going to be released at the New York Comic Con on October 11th.<br />
<br />
Now that that is over my wife told me that I have neglected my blog for long enough. She told me that she is going to give me a throwback of the week to make sure that I have something to post every week. That was too weeks ago. The first week was the Jetsons and well the quality control of my wife didn't like what I drew. She said it wasn't up to my standards and it didn't count.<br />
<br />
Here we are on the second week and she gave me a character that I didn't even know. I was given Chilly Willy. I needed to do some research before I was able even start drawing. This is what I came up with.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mHfvWZfh90s/UF9XATfU-3I/AAAAAAAAAhk/i5AoJVUnLhw/s1600/chillie-willie-web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mHfvWZfh90s/UF9XATfU-3I/AAAAAAAAAhk/i5AoJVUnLhw/s320/chillie-willie-web.jpg" width="232" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This drawing was done on 9x12 with Micron pens and Prisma Color Markers. It took about two hours to do. I like the way it came out. Nothing to exciting. I took the main image from the show and re-drew it. It was a nice warm up for my studio night on Friday.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am also getting ready for the New York Comic Con and it seems like there is a really big market for Sketch Covers. I have to admit that I don't really like doing them because they are not of a good enough quality paper. It doesn't allow me to do the streak free markering that I like doing. So I can't really do markers on it. But, what I can do is this.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-x_MRtQWYE0g/UF9Ym0Sqp_I/AAAAAAAAAhs/8ny_FkCML9s/s1600/deadpool-web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-x_MRtQWYE0g/UF9Ym0Sqp_I/AAAAAAAAAhs/8ny_FkCML9s/s320/deadpool-web.jpg" width="204" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Last Friday I started writing the graphic novel for Dark Legacy. I will be be posting pages as soon as I get them done. I should have a lot of art within the next couple of weeks. This blog is going to be updated a lot, so be sure to keep coming back. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I would love to hear what you have to say about any of my art. Thank you very much</div>

<br />
The game of Dark Legacy: The Rising is going to be coming out soon. The expected release date is going to be October 11th at the New York Comic Con. In anticipation of that release I wanted to stir up some interest before I got there and wanted to have a little bit of a give away. Here are the specifics.<br />
<br />
I would like to have 250 likes on the Dark Legacy Facebook page before I go to the New York Comic con. Once the Facebook page reaches 250 likes I will be giving away all six of the starter decks along with the mats and rule book that would go with it to one lucky winner. In addition to that I will be giving out 10 booster pack to 10 different people.<br />
<br />
So how do you tip the scale in your favor you ask, simple. Like the Facebook page and then send people over to like it as well. You have to have them comment on the wall that you were the one that sent them to like the page and your name will be entered into the drawing again. The more people that you get to like the page and say that you were the reason that they came over to like the page the more chances you have to win. See simple.<br />
<br />
Here is the Facebook page<br />

<br />
I know that I didn't do the last update that I said I would. I know that it has been a couple of weeks after the due date but I have been dealing with printers ever since the 90 day challenge was over. I thought I had everything taken care of but it seems that prices change A LOT since the initial quote.<br />
<br />
I got hit with a price that was double. DOUBLE! So I was trying really hard to find another printer which wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be. Although I was able to find a local print shop by accident and well everything is going to work out. I now have a local printer that prints in the USA and comes in at the cost that I was quoted from the first printer.<br />
<br />
With that all said I should have all the cards printed and at my house by the end of the week. I would like to thank everyone who was following my progress with the 90 day challenge. I might just do another one.<br />
<br />
Before we get to the final images I just wanted to say that in the last two weeks I really was in the zone. I was able to finish 27 cards. That's right 27 cards. I was able to learn a couple of things during those last two weeks. I realized that I didn't really need to draw all the cards full size. That help a hole lot. Well I just want to let you know that I was able to really kick but on the last stretch of the challenge.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GTYHkxvH0VE/T_EIflJHgpI/AAAAAAAAAd0/s-YIFhLFfng/s1600/antidote.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GTYHkxvH0VE/T_EIflJHgpI/AAAAAAAAAd0/s-YIFhLFfng/s320/antidote.jpg" width="204" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the antidote card. It clears the Hero of all the poison counters.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-889o31EI9O0/T_EIfyTUcxI/AAAAAAAAAd8/Z2rEOi5Khqs/s1600/barbarian+king.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-889o31EI9O0/T_EIfyTUcxI/AAAAAAAAAd8/Z2rEOi5Khqs/s320/barbarian+king.jpg" width="220" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is one of my favorite cards. This was drawn by Elvin Hernandez. It is the Barbarian King. I think that this one really came out the way I envisioned it.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-M0uABWgFHQ4/T_EIgR4ozjI/AAAAAAAAAeE/xJZriurdrzI/s1600/counter-spell.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-M0uABWgFHQ4/T_EIgR4ozjI/AAAAAAAAAeE/xJZriurdrzI/s320/counter-spell.jpg" width="215" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the counter spell card. It can be used by everyone one. It is a general card so it can be used by every player. This is a very useful card. So you, yes you, should have this in your deck.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OGTXUs-8JrI/T_EIgmNew4I/AAAAAAAAAeM/D0xhvy_gZUk/s1600/dark-knight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OGTXUs-8JrI/T_EIgmNew4I/AAAAAAAAAeM/D0xhvy_gZUk/s320/dark-knight.jpg" width="222" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Darkness Knight. I couldn't call it the Dark Knight because well... I didn't want to get sued. This is another piece drawn by Elvin Hernandez. What can I say the guy is good.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ov96Su4Xsq0/T_EIg_2fosI/AAAAAAAAAeU/tELPZv3auko/s1600/dip-watch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ov96Su4Xsq0/T_EIg_2fosI/AAAAAAAAAeU/tELPZv3auko/s320/dip-watch.jpg" width="214" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the D.I.P. watch. This card allows you to start the game over. It is a really mean card but Francisco Martinez and I came up with this watch way before I even thought about making this into Dark Legacy. So Cisco I told you it would be in the game.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZeyYHjvunXQ/T_EIhECXHII/AAAAAAAAAec/BjJW9xboxPs/s1600/earthspikes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZeyYHjvunXQ/T_EIhECXHII/AAAAAAAAAec/BjJW9xboxPs/s320/earthspikes.jpg" width="211" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is know as Earth Spikes. Don't really know what else to tell you about that.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Kf2BoMSiE40/T_EIhXdh49I/AAAAAAAAAek/9xfMfl4CFnI/s1600/fighting+spirit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Kf2BoMSiE40/T_EIhXdh49I/AAAAAAAAAek/9xfMfl4CFnI/s320/fighting+spirit.jpg" width="206" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Fighting spirit. This card gives you creatures a bit of a boost. I didn't really know what to draw for this one but then one day it just came too me. I think he might have too many arrows in him.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XTv0kJ5Eml4/T_EIh8AwSvI/AAAAAAAAAes/AHKFrl8Q47c/s1600/fire-sheild.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XTv0kJ5Eml4/T_EIh8AwSvI/AAAAAAAAAes/AHKFrl8Q47c/s320/fire-sheild.jpg" width="220" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the fire shield. Nothing too crazy. This is one of the first armors that you are allowed to have at the begining of the game.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OUf4mbynMdk/T_EIiN42yOI/AAAAAAAAAe0/onw8nUGAodE/s1600/giants+bats.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OUf4mbynMdk/T_EIiN42yOI/AAAAAAAAAe0/onw8nUGAodE/s320/giants+bats.jpg" width="220" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Giant Bats is another card illustrated by Elvin Hernandez and colored by me</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-557m1gzDwQE/T_EIictBV6I/AAAAAAAAAe8/z_dmsxrCpgg/s1600/hand+of+power.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-557m1gzDwQE/T_EIictBV6I/AAAAAAAAAe8/z_dmsxrCpgg/s320/hand+of+power.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Hand of Power. It is an enhancement card that gives you a bigger punch and well when you have the Hand of Faith you get to give yourself life points every time you do damage.<br /><br />This one was a bit of a pain in the butt because there are a lot of little things that needed to be colored sepereatly but in the end I think it came out pretty good.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1q8DobhJXpY/T_EIi8liqsI/AAAAAAAAAfE/F2RUjXtfOHM/s1600/heavy-chaos-armor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1q8DobhJXpY/T_EIi8liqsI/AAAAAAAAAfE/F2RUjXtfOHM/s320/heavy-chaos-armor.jpg" width="225" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the heavy armor for Chaos. I have to say that the armors were the ones that gave me problems. I tried to give them each their own look and still make them a bit practical as well. I am looking foward to when I just get to make armors that don't make sense but look really cool.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the heave Tech armor.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R8Vy1MvZXNM/T_EIjX6gbtI/AAAAAAAAAfU/tMTqo1msipk/s1600/heavy-wind-armor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R8Vy1MvZXNM/T_EIjX6gbtI/AAAAAAAAAfU/tMTqo1msipk/s320/heavy-wind-armor.jpg" width="219" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the heavy Wind armor</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jeM2NlJJjTE/T_EIj1I55cI/AAAAAAAAAfc/fhFip6AcPYU/s1600/helmetofknowledge.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jeM2NlJJjTE/T_EIj1I55cI/AAAAAAAAAfc/fhFip6AcPYU/s320/helmetofknowledge.jpg" width="225" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Helmet of knowledge. This card allows you to look at the next couple of cards and put them in a order that will benefit you in the future. It's just a helmet. I didn't go crazy with it.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7Kb-vcgl6nc/T_EIkGO5GlI/AAAAAAAAAfk/boeAen8NiQ0/s1600/holy-warrior.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7Kb-vcgl6nc/T_EIkGO5GlI/AAAAAAAAAfk/boeAen8NiQ0/s320/holy-warrior.jpg" width="241" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is the Holy Warrior. I really like the way this one looks. He seems as though he is pure and on the good side, which he is, but then he is armed like someone that will fight to the death to defend those who need to be defended. <br /><br />One thing that I like about this game is that the world is so large that you can be part of a faction and not look like the main person in the faction. That just allows for a lot of exploration. I love it.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JnwHikVvqKU/T_EIkoNYiRI/AAAAAAAAAfs/9uW49NELWY8/s1600/keeper+of+souls.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JnwHikVvqKU/T_EIkoNYiRI/AAAAAAAAAfs/9uW49NELWY8/s320/keeper+of+souls.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Keeper of Souls. This is one of the strongest creatures in the game. Well it has the potential to be the strongest in the game. It gets stronger everytime a creature lands in the Boneyard. In any Boneyard. So the more that get destroyed the stronger this guy gets.<br /><br />You are going to want to get your hands on this card.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-D7FSHCu55rA/T_EIkwa2rvI/AAAAAAAAAf0/lbTktrkIBUk/s1600/laser-eyes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-D7FSHCu55rA/T_EIkwa2rvI/AAAAAAAAAf0/lbTktrkIBUk/s320/laser-eyes.jpg" width="206" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Laser eyes. It deals a couple of points of damage. I was going to go in a differnt way, with the person already shooting the laser beam but I thought that was going to be too much like Cyclops from the X-Men</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c1Okov1Y9QA/T_EIlJRBE6I/AAAAAAAAAf8/MaabXVdymo4/s1600/light-wind-armor.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c1Okov1Y9QA/T_EIlJRBE6I/AAAAAAAAAf8/MaabXVdymo4/s320/light-wind-armor.jpg" width="224" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the medium light Wind Armor.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the medium Tech armor.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the medium Wind armor.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hFEzLvOYCPs/T_EImaESYLI/AAAAAAAAAgc/VUAf0rjAcoA/s1600/mystery-box.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hFEzLvOYCPs/T_EImaESYLI/AAAAAAAAAgc/VUAf0rjAcoA/s320/mystery-box.jpg" width="215" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Mystery box. This card allows you do take two of your cards and two of the opponents cards and shuffle them up and then your opponent gets to choose which two cards get to go into the Boneyard.<br /><br />It is a gamble but in the end if might be to your benefit to use the card.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7IqNnU5q6WE/T_EImpeemXI/AAAAAAAAAgk/Rrf2hiuSMT8/s1600/roleswitch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7IqNnU5q6WE/T_EImpeemXI/AAAAAAAAAgk/Rrf2hiuSMT8/s320/roleswitch.jpg" width="216" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is called Role Switch. It is one of the 13 Uber rare cards in the game. This card was fun to do because it is very simple but I think still pretty effective.<br /><br />The card allows you to switch everything with your opponent. You then have two turns to win otherwise you opponent wins.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-65a7p4pSjbA/T_EIm4sPfvI/AAAAAAAAAgs/REXdhccDe24/s1600/tornado.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-65a7p4pSjbA/T_EIm4sPfvI/AAAAAAAAAgs/REXdhccDe24/s320/tornado.jpg" width="214" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a Tornado card. It destroys stuff. I was told that once this card was done that a studio mate of mine doesn't want to live on the planet of Titan because there are just too many things that could kill him. I laughed and said you just have to watch out for the giant Tornado and you should be fine.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ElltpSlis2o/T_EInPXQUAI/AAAAAAAAAg0/gHntWrqack0/s1600/virus.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ElltpSlis2o/T_EInPXQUAI/AAAAAAAAAg0/gHntWrqack0/s320/virus.jpg" width="228" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Virus... It took forever to come up with this card. I just didn't know what to draw. How do you draw a virus, was the main thought in mind. Then I just went with the idea of a computer virus.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
One intersting tide bit about this card is that it is the only card or illustration for that matter that I did totally digitally.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1BStjdioNB4/T_EInUZPs2I/AAAAAAAAAg4/GlOBsRL8xp0/s1600/vortex.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1BStjdioNB4/T_EInUZPs2I/AAAAAAAAAg4/GlOBsRL8xp0/s320/vortex.jpg" width="210" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Vortex card. All I can say is get out of the way. Otherwise you are going to get sucked in.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SIgtU6VY-FY/T_EIn95NvDI/AAAAAAAAAhE/0KccYe2KEqc/s1600/windspike.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SIgtU6VY-FY/T_EIn95NvDI/AAAAAAAAAhE/0KccYe2KEqc/s320/windspike.jpg" width="220" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Wind Spike card. Now this card doesn't pack that much of a punch but you really wouldn't know that if you were to only look at the card. I realized that I make the cards look a lot stronger than they actually are. I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing. </div>
<br /><br />
<br />
<br />
There you go. That is the end of the 90 day challenge. I hope you had fun and thanks for all the support. You all rock.<br /><br />As allways all comments and critiques are welcome.<br />See you next time<br />

I am in such a mad rush to finish all the cards by the end of the month. I have 14 days left in this month to get everything done. So I am going to post one last post at the end of the month. I am going to surprise you with how much work I complete in the last two weeks. So I am sorry you will not get an update next week but the week after that you will have a lot of work to look at. I hope you can forgive me for that.<br />
<br />
Here is the update for last week.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7kR15dpN53s/T7W0CHmSPeI/AAAAAAAAAc4/K7iN96qEPRs/s1600/Pegasus.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7kR15dpN53s/T7W0CHmSPeI/AAAAAAAAAc4/K7iN96qEPRs/s320/Pegasus.jpg" width="212" /></a><br /><br />Now this is a drawing by Enrique Rivera. He did the card Pegasus Rider. Well I needed a card of just a Pegasus and with the time crunch I just edited out the rider flipped the picture and changed the color. So I know that I didn't draw this one but I did have to do some work to it so I am counting it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QKWh8LFjlIs/T7W0Cly6guI/AAAAAAAAAdA/bZ_sFvH8DiQ/s1600/blizard.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QKWh8LFjlIs/T7W0Cly6guI/AAAAAAAAAdA/bZ_sFvH8DiQ/s320/blizard.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is Blizzard. I wanted you to think why is this person even out in that weather. I hope that that comes across. I think that I was able to give that feeling. I know that I wouldn't want to be out there in that snow so...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-obvZu5nyoXc/T7W0DBLit9I/AAAAAAAAAdI/8jo29IVmYBw/s1600/brute.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-obvZu5nyoXc/T7W0DBLit9I/AAAAAAAAAdI/8jo29IVmYBw/s320/brute.jpg" width="219" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Brute. This card was drawn by Elvin Hernandez and colored by me. This one has a lot of power in the drawing. I tried keeping the top of the card open because Elvin likes to put a lot of detail in his work and I firmly believe that the eye needs a place to rest in order to enjoy the image.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oo7QMIODQkU/T7W0DgoI8CI/AAAAAAAAAdQ/BSAC62ys8b8/s1600/pheonix.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oo7QMIODQkU/T7W0DgoI8CI/AAAAAAAAAdQ/BSAC62ys8b8/s320/pheonix.jpg" width="146" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is one of the Holy Order Members. There are many different cultures within the Holy Order faction. This is a fighter from the Eastern area. Modern and flashy but still in line with the beliefs of Hope and her Holy Order. This one was done in marker.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jlSaiJi6Ado/T7W0EESHIVI/AAAAAAAAAdU/ucnJwpjnO44/s1600/power-boost.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jlSaiJi6Ado/T7W0EESHIVI/AAAAAAAAAdU/ucnJwpjnO44/s320/power-boost.jpg" width="214" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my power boost card. I couldn't really think of anything stronger than lifting a really really big rock.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dDC_4a2kOoo/T7W0EfznYxI/AAAAAAAAAdc/emwrGePENmk/s1600/stechnoid.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dDC_4a2kOoo/T7W0EfznYxI/AAAAAAAAAdc/emwrGePENmk/s320/stechnoid.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ah yes the Stechnoids. These are the mosquitoes of Titan. They are little only about an inch and a half big but they are very annoying and well they bit. Stechnoids never travel alone. If there is one there are 100.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Wd7A6i1BpNM/T7W0E-NU-kI/AAAAAAAAAdk/PZ3gDJy1SCs/s1600/wolf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Wd7A6i1BpNM/T7W0E-NU-kI/AAAAAAAAAdk/PZ3gDJy1SCs/s320/wolf.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a wolf. There has to be somethings that people can relate to. Then was they are hooked the story gets rid of everything that they can find on Earth.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There you go. There's the update. Hope you liked it.<br />Make sure to come back in two weeks to see the rest of the cards.</div>

It has been tough for me but I am glad to see that I am sticking with it. Man let me tell you... there have been times when I am just not motivated to do a card and I just want to go to bed. This challenge has kept me going. I think I am going to have to do another challenge in the near future. I don't exactly know for what but I am sure I will think of something.<br /><br />Here are the cards that I did for last week. Sorry for not posting yesterday but I had the day off and well this wasn't on the forefront of my mind. Sorry. But, here it is for all of you to see. Hope you enjoy it.<br />
<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my Chaos Dragon. I did this image this way because it has a bit of a back story. The idea is that no one has seen this dragon in over 700 years. They only have record of it in drawings like this one on old pieces of paper and wood. So I thought it would be cool to try and replicate the idea of an old drawing of the dragon.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iANur2hnK1o/T6nH4p2TL_I/AAAAAAAAAcA/mKd3_Y8Tz4k/s1600/earthquake.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iANur2hnK1o/T6nH4p2TL_I/AAAAAAAAAcA/mKd3_Y8Tz4k/s320/earthquake.jpg" width="210" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is Earthquake. I think that is all that is needed to be said about that card.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NHxoVvUqDUc/T6nH5KeqCxI/AAAAAAAAAcI/0Jqv48eD39s/s1600/firestorm.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NHxoVvUqDUc/T6nH5KeqCxI/AAAAAAAAAcI/0Jqv48eD39s/s320/firestorm.jpg" width="211" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is know as Firestorm. I really like how this one turned out. It looked completely different when I thought it was done the first time. Then I mistakenly touched a button on Photoshop and the image changed so I started playing around with the properties of certain layers until I got this result. There is something to be said about happy mistakes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YOi9ta5twCo/T6nH5qO00KI/AAAAAAAAAcQ/q9-imw2A49A/s1600/koro.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YOi9ta5twCo/T6nH5qO00KI/AAAAAAAAAcQ/q9-imw2A49A/s320/koro.jpg" width="177" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is Kor-ro. He is an elder elf, but his ways are not that of the elvin culture. He is to be thought of as a traitor to all elves. He is a powerful elf and will play a pretty strong roll in the future of the Dark Legacy story.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fNHh3dOuQ5U/T6nH6F20E3I/AAAAAAAAAcY/O0KcA4GnkbI/s1600/polarbear.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fNHh3dOuQ5U/T6nH6F20E3I/AAAAAAAAAcY/O0KcA4GnkbI/s320/polarbear.jpg" width="146" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a bear. A pretty big bear. In this card I was trying to combine my once very graphic style with my new coloring style. I think that it works but I guess I will have to let you all be the judge of that.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tCb_6TzF88s/T6nH6pGq1MI/AAAAAAAAAcg/ffV-TPYMNwY/s1600/terlug.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tCb_6TzF88s/T6nH6pGq1MI/AAAAAAAAAcg/ffV-TPYMNwY/s320/terlug.jpg" width="217" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a Turlug. This is a very simple creature. It doesn't do much of anything. It just moves slowly through the world of Titan. These creature are pretty harmless unless the feel threatened. Then they become the towering giants that they are. They stand about about 12 feet tall and as you can see are not exactly skinny. If I were you I would just try to stay out of their way. Things are easier that way.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6HeB2qtxg9U/T6nH7JiAmwI/AAAAAAAAAco/lz9ds-gowkI/s1600/zombie.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6HeB2qtxg9U/T6nH7JiAmwI/AAAAAAAAAco/lz9ds-gowkI/s320/zombie.jpg" width="187" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a Zombie from Elvin Hernandez. I think that I am finding my groove when it comes to coloring Elvin's pieces of art. I hope that it continues because I have quite a few cards from him that I have to color. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There you go. Nothing more to really add here. I hope that you enjoyed the cards. See you next week and as always comments and critiques are always welcome.<br />Thanks<br />Kaiser.</div>
<br />Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-63886787686473575462012-04-30T21:56:00.002-04:002012-04-30T21:56:55.654-04:00Week nine.Hello Everyone.<br />
<br />We are now on week nine of this 90 challenge. I can't believe that it has already been 59 days and that I am going into the last 31 days of this challenge. It has been a really hard challenge for me and I have realized what I can and can't do. I am going to try and push myself a bit harder within the next 31 days to see just how much I can get done.<br /><br />This week was a bit more fun than the last week. i have to say. I got to work on some cards that I wanted to get do but was too busy to put the time into. I would have had one more card to show you but my Norton Antivirus corrupted one of the cards that I was working on. Apparently that is common knowledge that Norton doesn't like Photoshop. Wish I new that. I never really had any problems with it until my computer died and then well I guess it didn't have any of the updates to avoid that problem so when the free subscription ran out Norton decided to corrupt my image.<br /><br />It was sad and I was a bit upset about it, but I can't cried over corrupted files. I am just going to have to move on. So talking about moving on let's get to the cards for this week shall we.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-k-Dv6ZIZ0n0/T588hhb5trI/AAAAAAAAAa0/lZhAYmdIj0c/s1600/breeze+knight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-k-Dv6ZIZ0n0/T588hhb5trI/AAAAAAAAAa0/lZhAYmdIj0c/s320/breeze+knight.jpg" width="220" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is called Breeze Knight. I have to say that working on Elvin Hernandez' cards always proves to be a challenge. He puts so much detail into his work that I don't really want to screw that up; I am always afraid that I am going to make it look worse than when he gave it to me. I like the way the card came out.<br /><br />I tried to knock out the lines and make is as though this character is actually wind, but it didn't seem to work out in my favor so I did this instead. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fkCBmuRgH8Y/T588iXLfa8I/AAAAAAAAAa8/szp8AK-Dcko/s1600/darkrose300.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fkCBmuRgH8Y/T588iXLfa8I/AAAAAAAAAa8/szp8AK-Dcko/s320/darkrose300.jpg" width="158" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is Dark Rose. He is one of the most relentless warriors in the Kaiser's army. This card gets stronger every time a creature that fights him goes into the Boneyard. I like this character because is seems as though he is really calm and collected but in actuality he is ruled by his emotions.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1BEfj3sPQq0/T588igEh0vI/AAAAAAAAAbE/XrIu24j65mA/s1600/hand+of+fate.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1BEfj3sPQq0/T588igEh0vI/AAAAAAAAAbE/XrIu24j65mA/s320/hand+of+fate.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a relic known as the Hand of Faith. This card boosts the Hero's attack points while if combined with the Hand of Power converts all the damage that was done to by the Hero to life points for the Hero.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think that this is going to be one of my favorite cards to play. Any time I can do damage to an opponent and then get life points for it is a win in my book.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-e6uHlNXIkLw/T588jPkm4MI/AAAAAAAAAbM/TZFN0rVBoNg/s1600/knifefighter300.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-e6uHlNXIkLw/T588jPkm4MI/AAAAAAAAAbM/TZFN0rVBoNg/s320/knifefighter300.jpg" width="241" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is known as the Pit Fighter. Nothing more that a scrapper who fights for a living. There are many of these type of fighters on the planet of Titan. The only thing they know is how to fight and fight to survive. If you were ever to come across one of these Pit Fighters you better hope that t hey are having a good day, because if they are not you will fight until one of you is no longer breathing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0nuCll2lfXU/T588jih3WzI/AAAAAAAAAbU/CS-AqZ5TNek/s1600/music+box.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0nuCll2lfXU/T588jih3WzI/AAAAAAAAAbU/CS-AqZ5TNek/s320/music+box.jpg" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the last of the casting point containers. This is one of the common ones. This is known as the Music Box. This box allows you to store two casting points. I know that it isn't much but it has a low casting and skill level, so even as a new player you would be able to get this card out and store some casting points for later.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-063MNvKBEuE/T588j5fHcCI/AAAAAAAAAbc/NRQm6x2LpNY/s1600/shadow+demon.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-063MNvKBEuE/T588j5fHcCI/AAAAAAAAAbc/NRQm6x2LpNY/s320/shadow+demon.jpg" width="209" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Shadow Demon. This is the debut of Richard Swan. He was a student of mine at the Art Institute of Washington. Before he left you drew this picture for me to be included in the game. I went ahead and colored it up and now it is ready to go. I didn't want to over do it with the glowing so I kept it to only his eyes. I thing the subdued colors that are within this piece is helping the fact that he is a bad guy and well you better watch out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Zavx7avhCng/T588lYAd0pI/AAAAAAAAAbk/IL-rNAgXXjQ/s1600/sonic+screem.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Zavx7avhCng/T588lYAd0pI/AAAAAAAAAbk/IL-rNAgXXjQ/s320/sonic+screem.jpg" width="211" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is an enhancement card. It is known as Sonic Scream. This card allows you to add attack power to your attack every time you attack. I liked the glowing out of the mouth and eyes. The card really looks powerful. That always makes me happy.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_r3Y6p4s6kg/T588l7QXkZI/AAAAAAAAAbs/WsLWuLUUapM/s1600/vulcan's+gauntlets.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_r3Y6p4s6kg/T588l7QXkZI/AAAAAAAAAbs/WsLWuLUUapM/s320/vulcan's+gauntlets.jpg" width="205" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These are Vulcan's Gauntlets. At this moment I have absolutely no idea what they do. I know that i had to do them and I know that I have what they are supposed to do in my list of descriptions for each card. Sorry if you really wanted to know what this card did. You will just have to get the card and find out what it does then. Sorry.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There you have it. 8 cards instead of seven. I am trying to get those numbers up every week. Hope you liked this weeks updates. If you did please let me know and if you have any comments don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks<br />Kaiser</div>
<br />Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-73648935128853836012012-04-25T23:56:00.001-04:002012-04-25T23:56:54.596-04:00Week Eight. Another post on WednesdayHello everyone.<br /><br />I know that I said I was going to try and break the trend slash rut the I am in, but it seems like posting on Wednesday has become the new thing for me. I still would like to get back on track with posting on Sunday, so I guess I am just going to have to try a bit harder to make sure that I get the update done on Sunday evening.<br /><br />With that said here are the seven cards for last week. I have to admit that this week was a bit easy for me because... well you will see. Check out the cards below.<div>
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tYg-8WYQIp0/T5jEGFO4QoI/AAAAAAAAAaA/afEZAq1fFjU/s1600/backmonster.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tYg-8WYQIp0/T5jEGFO4QoI/AAAAAAAAAaA/afEZAq1fFjU/s320/backmonster.jpg" width="299" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These are my tri-worms. I realized that after looking at my list of cards that I still need to finish that I had a lot of creatures that could be found on our Earth and I didn't exactly know why I was doing that, so I decided to change that. I started making creatures that would be specific to the world of Titan. This is one of them. These little creeps would be our equivalent of maggots.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-A1rH5XxBiEQ/T5jEFWWo25I/AAAAAAAAAZ4/Vv7a1PdTTjU/s1600/axe+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-A1rH5XxBiEQ/T5jEFWWo25I/AAAAAAAAAZ4/Vv7a1PdTTjU/s320/axe+copy.jpg" width="224" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Earth Eye. It allows the wearer to decrease the casting cost of Earth cards by one. As you will soon see the next three cards are pretty much the same card except the change of faction symbol in the eye. See why this week was a bit on the easy/lazy side.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UxLqEWUfatY/T5jEGscpvTI/AAAAAAAAAaI/IYoh0ppddPU/s1600/dark-legacy+EYEtest-darkness.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UxLqEWUfatY/T5jEGscpvTI/AAAAAAAAAaI/IYoh0ppddPU/s320/dark-legacy+EYEtest-darkness.jpg" width="224" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Darkness Eye. It does the same thing as the Earth Eye just for Darkness cards.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MBH9Hrk2CF8/T5jEHJjylII/AAAAAAAAAaQ/Qx-dN7Lqos4/s1600/dark-legacy+EYEtest-holyorder.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MBH9Hrk2CF8/T5jEHJjylII/AAAAAAAAAaQ/Qx-dN7Lqos4/s320/dark-legacy+EYEtest-holyorder.jpg" width="224" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br class="Apple-interchange-newline" />This is the Holy Order Eye. It does the same thing as the Darkness Eye just for Holy Order cards.
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FSxAEcGNJTc/T5jEHrTsgSI/AAAAAAAAAaY/eDuIX0Ug1z8/s1600/dark-legacy+EYEtest-wind.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FSxAEcGNJTc/T5jEHrTsgSI/AAAAAAAAAaY/eDuIX0Ug1z8/s320/dark-legacy+EYEtest-wind.jpg" width="224" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br class="Apple-interchange-newline" />This is the Wind Eye. It does the same thing as the Holy Order Eye just for Wind cards.
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8-0bvVCru2g/T5jEIOVEPkI/AAAAAAAAAag/2Q2TRU4lHuE/s1600/dpcontest4-color.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8-0bvVCru2g/T5jEIOVEPkI/AAAAAAAAAag/2Q2TRU4lHuE/s320/dpcontest4-color.jpg" width="227" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
In the beginning of Dark Legacy this was going to be what Hope looked like. Then as the story progressed I made her into more of a cleric instead of a kick butt tech fighter. Since I had this drawing I figured that I could use it as a card. This is going to be one of the tech fighters. She would be a mid level card. No real power just a good casting cost of moderate AP/DP</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WEV6vdufvc8/T5jEIsiOP-I/AAAAAAAAAao/8p5AcwGK3Jw/s1600/flamethrower.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WEV6vdufvc8/T5jEIsiOP-I/AAAAAAAAAao/8p5AcwGK3Jw/s320/flamethrower.jpg" width="210" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the final weapon that I need to do for Dark Legacy: The Rising. So that section is now done. I am happy about that. You will start hearing that a lot, sections being done that is. This is the Flamethrower card. It is pretty powerful card in that is can hit flying and it doesn't have a bullet limit like other guns.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
That was last week. I can say that this week is actually working out pretty good. I have a couple of cards that prove that I am not lazy. I do do some work. I have to say that having to draw, ink and then color the cards has proven to be a bit harder than I had anticipated in the beginning, but I still have about 35 days left to finish up all the cards and then get it out the printer. Here's to working let to get you project out the the masses.<br /><br />Thanks for coming by and I will see you this Sunday for the next update.<br />Kaiser</div>Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-26507893577839544002012-04-18T22:14:00.000-04:002012-04-18T22:14:16.614-04:00week sevenHello Everyone<br /><br />I know what you are thinking. "Why doesn't he just tell people he will update on Wednesday"? I know it seems like that is the trend that I am currently working with. This week it wasn't intentional. I was away at C2E2 and didn't come back home until Monday. On Tuesday I was with the family the whole day and today well I was at work, so this is the first time that I really had time to actually post anything. I am hoping that this week's post will be on Sunday. I want to break this trend. I don't like it.<br /><br />Now that that is out of the way let's move on shall we? I have to say that it has been pretty tough trying to get cards done at the moment. There has been a lot on my plate and well now it seems as though I have eaten everything on it so I should be good for a bit. Which is great, because it gives me time to make sure that I get some work on Dark Legacy done.<br /><br />Here are the cards.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rbXt7veXBDc/T49xZStaKwI/AAAAAAAAAZA/Jp4VJUNVlHg/s1600/hammer+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rbXt7veXBDc/T49xZStaKwI/AAAAAAAAAZA/Jp4VJUNVlHg/s320/hammer+copy.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my hammer. Noting to fancy but as I am sure most of you know. Especially those who have been following this blog for the past couple of weeks, more than likely something is going to be glowing. Magic is everywhere in the realm of Dark Legacy.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yzT7P1nPBCs/T49xZus95_I/AAAAAAAAAZI/Vjq9zqlSIBc/s1600/longsword+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yzT7P1nPBCs/T49xZus95_I/AAAAAAAAAZI/Vjq9zqlSIBc/s320/longsword+copy.jpg" width="205" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my long sword. It is so big that you can't even contain it on the page. I am sure that I could have but it just seemed to work better actually going off of the page. I also like the purple glow. It just makes it that much more powerful to me. Must be the magic.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_Rb6dK34nyk/T49xdUZ_89I/AAAAAAAAAZQ/Zo0rawryqzs/s1600/metor-shower.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_Rb6dK34nyk/T49xdUZ_89I/AAAAAAAAAZQ/Zo0rawryqzs/s1600/metor-shower.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Meteor Shower. What can I say they look like balls of light falling from the sky. So, that is what you get. It seems to be working, so unless I hear otherwise I am going to leave it the way it is.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eEIRgP45lv0/T49xdw_7p5I/AAAAAAAAAZY/6LDK0-Tc7Sw/s1600/ninjaclaws+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eEIRgP45lv0/T49xdw_7p5I/AAAAAAAAAZY/6LDK0-Tc7Sw/s320/ninjaclaws+copy.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have to say that I like working on all the things that tie back to ninjas. No matter how small of a weapon or detail I find myself more interested in the ninja stuff then the cards that I get to come up with myself. I guess that is because I really like ninjas. I don't know maybe not. Oh by the way these are ninja claws.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KpuecE8XxXg/T49xoveLkZI/AAAAAAAAAZg/Z1RFnrwwtrE/s1600/ninjastars+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KpuecE8XxXg/T49xoveLkZI/AAAAAAAAAZg/Z1RFnrwwtrE/s320/ninjastars+copy.jpg" width="220" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ditto what I just said except that these are ninja stars also know as Suriken.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MnjdnvCSY_c/T49xo-CiZVI/AAAAAAAAAZo/OPDfSLhZy-M/s1600/ratakarna+sythe+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MnjdnvCSY_c/T49xo-CiZVI/AAAAAAAAAZo/OPDfSLhZy-M/s320/ratakarna+sythe+copy.jpg" width="206" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is Ratakarna's scythe. I do really like how this one came out, but that is when I realized that I am going to be drawing this again and again and again. Maybe I shouldn't have put some many individual parts into this weapon. Nah. If I didn't it wouldn't have come out this way.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sOUx4TxjEoo/T49xpV_rIOI/AAAAAAAAAZw/MQXQ3DUP6qY/s1600/surge-sheild.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sOUx4TxjEoo/T49xpV_rIOI/AAAAAAAAAZw/MQXQ3DUP6qY/s320/surge-sheild.jpg" width="221" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Last one for today is the Surge Shield. This is the shield that helps against Tech cards. I tried to make it look like energy would being pushed out from the center. I don't know if it is working that way but I do think it is still working. I think that the bright purple really draws you eye to it and the as you go from it you actually get to see that there is a type of shield there.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There you have it. Once again just managed to get seven done, but non the less still seven. Hope to see you on Sunday when I post for this week. Once again thank you for coming by my blog. Let me know if you have an comments or concerns about what is on this blog for the past couple of weeks. Thanks<br />Kaiser.</div>
<br />Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-88327837423607701212012-04-11T11:32:00.001-04:002012-04-11T11:33:02.395-04:00week 6Hello Everyone.<br />
<br />
Man I have to say that for half of this challenge I haven't been able to update on time. It seems to be one of my biggest problems. I just don't get around to updating when I should. I can do the work but the whole updating thing always seems to escape me. I am going to have to take my wife up on helping me out with this kind of stuff.<br />
<br />
Well once again only 7 cards. Like I mentioned before my computer died and well that has been making things hard for me. I was able to get my computer back this week so I have to say that it was a pretty fast turnaround from HP. They had to replace my motherboard. Hopefully that will allow me to be more productive again.<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I finished my Marvel deadline which kept me up pretty late the night before it was due, but that is done now. So, I might just have a couple of extra minutes to put towards this challenge. So let's move on to some of the cards I got done this week.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--F5kYWz6els/T4WfmEd438I/AAAAAAAAAYI/KMWyjiuSf9A/s1600/bayanette+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--F5kYWz6els/T4WfmEd438I/AAAAAAAAAYI/KMWyjiuSf9A/s320/bayanette+copy.jpg" width="216" /></a></div>
<br />
This is one of Tyoshi's weapons. That's right a ninja with a gun. There isn't anything wrong with that and if you look at ninja history they had pistols too. So there. When I was creating this weapon I was just looking at adapting the idea of a bayonet, just more hand held. I like it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sKIG_AoW-Uc/T4WfmiE71bI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/Lxzb159JjVw/s1600/darkness-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sKIG_AoW-Uc/T4WfmiE71bI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/Lxzb159JjVw/s320/darkness-90.jpg" width="216" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Darkness card. At first I was jut going to have a black rectangle for this card but then I was told that that would be cheating and I should do something a bit more interesting. So, I made a hole... with a lot of black.</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jWob60ew_VQ/T4WfnKfL1KI/AAAAAAAAAYY/uTkjWywjsEI/s1600/filter-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jWob60ew_VQ/T4WfnKfL1KI/AAAAAAAAAYY/uTkjWywjsEI/s320/filter-90.jpg" width="224" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Filter. The machine that creates subordinate magic and is pretty much running the the planet of Titan. This is one of The Kaiser's inventions and one of the main reasons why he believes that he should be ruler of the world. That and family linage and well the fact that he is super bad guy. At least he is to those who oppose him.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cGXpHjiBPBY/T4Wfn0RWGvI/AAAAAAAAAYg/RRqpPKtNGog/s1600/mace+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cGXpHjiBPBY/T4Wfn0RWGvI/AAAAAAAAAYg/RRqpPKtNGog/s320/mace+copy.jpg" width="216" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is my version of a mace. Small and compact and yet so very deadly. This would be a light weapon as the head of the mace would just be pure metal. So it would really hurt to get hit in the head with one of these.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6FD6YlHgalU/T4WfoY7wBII/AAAAAAAAAYo/1L0o4kR72zw/s1600/mini+rail+gun+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6FD6YlHgalU/T4WfoY7wBII/AAAAAAAAAYo/1L0o4kR72zw/s320/mini+rail+gun+copy.jpg" width="205" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my mini rail gun. I was just trying to create something that had a nice look too it but still be a powerful looking weapon. It is very shinny. I don't know if that needs to change or not but for right now it is going to have to do.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aBaapRI-tis/T4Wfo5GtH-I/AAAAAAAAAYw/9cCceH8TiQs/s1600/shadow'saxe+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aBaapRI-tis/T4Wfo5GtH-I/AAAAAAAAAYw/9cCceH8TiQs/s320/shadow'saxe+copy.jpg" width="210" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a weapon for an NPC character in the game. He is known as Shadow. he is a ninja but not he way you would think. I am not going to tell you anything beyond that because I want you to follow the story. But, as for this weapon it splits in half to allow for double hand fighting.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-omi4Vw7lXUw/T4WfpcovLbI/AAAAAAAAAY4/CmOcM95V-JM/s1600/vortex.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-omi4Vw7lXUw/T4WfpcovLbI/AAAAAAAAAY4/CmOcM95V-JM/s320/vortex.jpg" width="210" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Vortex card. This card game me some problems because I din't know how to get the effect that I was looking for. So there were a lot of different installments of what this card looked like and I think that this one captures what I wanted it to be. It looks as though things are twirling and being sucked in.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There you go. Hope you like them.</div>
Well let me know what your thoughts are.<br />
See you next time<br />
Kaiser.<br />
<br />Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-67048354624180731082012-04-02T15:57:00.002-04:002012-04-02T15:58:12.950-04:00Week 5Hello Everyone,<br />
<br />
We are here at week five and let me tell you that this week was trying to destroy me. I had to finish up some pinewood derby cars for my kids. One won a craftsmanship award and the other won the best overall design of the derby. It made my kids really happy so it was well worth the time.<br />
<br />
I also had to work on my Marvel sketch cards. Which I really hope that people like. I tried something different and as soon as I can show them I will.<br />
<br />
Lastly I was doing a loot of tree cutting over the weekend. While working with a chainsaw is a lot of fun it is still a lot of work and man was I tired at the end of that.<br />
<br />
I guess that is enough of why I didn't, once again, post on Sunday and give you what you are looking for. I stuck with doing weapons because the were going to be easy and well the week started off hard so I figured I was going to need to do something easy..<br />
<br />
Also I have noticed the dates on some of the illustrations. I just want to clarify that the date on the image is when it was drawn not completed. I just don't change the dates on the illustrations.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UGEwzeU7Seo/T3oCuVS9uzI/AAAAAAAAAXQ/k0UEkNfAjhM/s1600/amphion's+blade+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UGEwzeU7Seo/T3oCuVS9uzI/AAAAAAAAAXQ/k0UEkNfAjhM/s320/amphion's+blade+copy.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<br />
This is Amphion's weapon of choice he has two of these. I think he looks pretty cool with these simple by very effective weapons.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kczKY-9GiX8/T3oCvf9yQ5I/AAAAAAAAAXY/XkcrbvwIfuo/s1600/bostaff+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kczKY-9GiX8/T3oCvf9yQ5I/AAAAAAAAAXY/XkcrbvwIfuo/s320/bostaff+copy.jpg" width="223" /></a></div>
<br />
This is a basic Bo Staff. Nothing to fancy just one of the weapons players can use early on.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-v5bUPusV6OE/T3oCv9rG32I/AAAAAAAAAXg/dU-eFupDLhQ/s1600/hope's+staff+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-v5bUPusV6OE/T3oCv9rG32I/AAAAAAAAAXg/dU-eFupDLhQ/s320/hope's+staff+copy.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is Hope's Staff. Once again nothing fancy. Just a simple design for this weapon. If I am not mistaken this weapon gives you the ability to fly for a turn, but I have to be honest I don't remember.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KkxMSkIwaNg/T3oCwv5cziI/AAAAAAAAAXo/p8urEMEjtf4/s1600/longbow+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KkxMSkIwaNg/T3oCwv5cziI/AAAAAAAAAXo/p8urEMEjtf4/s320/longbow+copy.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<br />
This is my version of a Long Bow. I like the ides of still being able to defend yourself even if you are out of arrows.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0XgxmgXq74w/T3oCxY1vezI/AAAAAAAAAXw/5Dr_IFcXXb8/s1600/pulse-rifle+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0XgxmgXq74w/T3oCxY1vezI/AAAAAAAAAXw/5Dr_IFcXXb8/s320/pulse-rifle+copy.jpg" width="209" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my Pulse Cannon. Nothing like having a giant gun attached to your forearm that can bring down anything that is flying. I would assume that any player that would be using this gun would have some type of cybernetic arm so that they could handle the recoil of the shot. But, that is just me.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nMswwE44rgE/T3oCz0lGuVI/AAAAAAAAAX4/B5zNscBT2Qk/s1600/saikx'+sword+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nMswwE44rgE/T3oCz0lGuVI/AAAAAAAAAX4/B5zNscBT2Qk/s320/saikx'+sword+copy.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<br />
This is know as Saikx Sword. Just know that this sword and the person who wields it plays a pretty big role later on in the story. So I am not going to tell you much about this.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-V5l9HZLl3c8/T3oC0QmNgaI/AAAAAAAAAYA/eYK55MVijg8/s1600/spear+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-V5l9HZLl3c8/T3oC0QmNgaI/AAAAAAAAAYA/eYK55MVijg8/s320/spear+copy.jpg" width="205" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is just what I think a Spear should look like. I have always been a fan of being able to defend yourself with both ends of a weapon. This would also be a weapon that you could get early on in the game.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Once gain I was only able to get seven. I am hoping to be able to get more this week but I still need to finish my Marvel cards. I am hoping to have them all done by Wednesday. Wish me luck.</div>
<br />
Thanks for checking it out and let me know what you think<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

I know. Work and freelance have kept me from being able to think straight. Not to mention my computer died two days ago which really makes think a bit more tricky. It is a good thing that I have a couple of computers in the house, otherwise I wouldn't be able to finish out my challenge and well I just can't have that.<br />
<br />
Well enough with what happened to me and on with the cards. I got seven for last week. Probably only going to be able to get seven this week, but then I will be done with my Marvel Sketchcard deadline and then I can give some more attention to the cards that I have to finish.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vsFDmP-lfd8/T3HLs1kxqjI/AAAAAAAAAWM/6dF6RY8GxT4/s1600/cyber-blade-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vsFDmP-lfd8/T3HLs1kxqjI/AAAAAAAAAWM/6dF6RY8GxT4/s320/cyber-blade-90.jpg" width="253" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is another cybernetic enhancement. I do believe that that is the last weapon enhancement I have. (Cybernetic at least) This is another card that will allow you to have stronger attack points even though you don't have a weapon card in play. Nothing to thought provoking here. Just a guy with a giant blade on his forearm. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-btnhqY7Ts-g/T3HLtHPxDZI/AAAAAAAAAWU/fXGEAks_wwA/s1600/health-regulator-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-btnhqY7Ts-g/T3HLtHPxDZI/AAAAAAAAAWU/fXGEAks_wwA/s320/health-regulator-90.jpg" width="233" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Health Regulator. When I was creating this device I was thinking of very old scuba gear that we had to wear in order to be under water. It covers the mouth and nose as well as puts charging cells over your chest so that you heart and lungs get a boost. This card gives you a extra life point every turn.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bg6sKWtC7nk/T3HLuIEGaeI/AAAAAAAAAWc/Td8P_48n8dM/s1600/iron-golem-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bg6sKWtC7nk/T3HLuIEGaeI/AAAAAAAAAWc/Td8P_48n8dM/s320/iron-golem-90.jpg" width="224" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Iron Golem. I really like the way this one turned out. It gives me the feel of an old golem that has been handed down through the generations. It have been through many battles and has defended the honor of the family that owned it. I would have to say that this golem is held together solely by the magic that allows it to move. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BONwdU9_an4/T3HLuSaLN5I/AAAAAAAAAWk/6lwtTNn9FlU/s1600/metal-colossis-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BONwdU9_an4/T3HLuSaLN5I/AAAAAAAAAWk/6lwtTNn9FlU/s320/metal-colossis-90.jpg" width="206" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Metal Colossus. Just another really big robot that is in the Tech faction. This robot towers over the forest of Suelie. It is the tallest of all the forests on Titan. There is no way you don't see this robot coming.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kiU9MOPWb4w/T3HLvJ-1VPI/AAAAAAAAAWs/l8Mv__euGtE/s1600/nemril's-spell-book-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kiU9MOPWb4w/T3HLvJ-1VPI/AAAAAAAAAWs/l8Mv__euGtE/s320/nemril's-spell-book-90.jpg" width="205" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Nemril's Spell Book. this is a very powerful card. This card allows you to play any card of any faction as long as you have the correct skill level in at least one of the factions. This is the book that I talked about in the last post. It is the spell book of the most powerful sorcerer in Titan.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-o_PX8lrRlMM/T3HLv5A7J-I/AAAAAAAAAW0/sqtTb1BW3eY/s1600/one-armed-guy-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="250" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-o_PX8lrRlMM/T3HLv5A7J-I/AAAAAAAAAW0/sqtTb1BW3eY/s320/one-armed-guy-90.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the Tech Warrior. He is known for his bravery and even with the loss of his arm he is a force to be reckoned with. His armor is remanence of a time where the world was more unified and factions would cross pollinate. It was a better time back then. The Tech Warrior hopes that one day the world of Titan can go back to that time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UT0v82rscLE/T3HLwqIn98I/AAAAAAAAAW8/IX3w30f5dcg/s1600/spiked-gun-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UT0v82rscLE/T3HLwqIn98I/AAAAAAAAAW8/IX3w30f5dcg/s320/spiked-gun-90.jpg" width="196" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my spiked gun. I had the idea for this gun when I was in college. It didn't look as good but the idea was there. If you run out of bullets you should still be able to do some damage with it. Not much but still some.</div>
<br />Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-41723223911201235562012-03-19T21:40:00.000-04:002012-03-19T21:40:14.542-04:00Week 3I know, I know you were expecting to get this post yesterday. Well I went to the movies instead. I needed a bit of R&R. But, I wanted to go ahead and post the cards that I did last week. I was able to get eight of them done. I should have got more done but I wasn't feeling up to too much at the end of the week. Hopefully this week will be different, even though I have to finish a whole lot of Marvel Beginnings sketch cards. There is never a dull moment in my artistic life.<br />
<br />
On to the cards<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7z3mvaQxQco/T2fY1dLBRWI/AAAAAAAAAVM/etW_UGZe_5Y/s1600/cresentblade-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7z3mvaQxQco/T2fY1dLBRWI/AAAAAAAAAVM/etW_UGZe_5Y/s320/cresentblade-90.jpg" width="210" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
This one is called the Crescent Blade. It is a decorative blade that most officers of the Holy Order would have. I would have to say that it is more for show, but is still very deadly in the right hands. I have to say that I really do enjoy making up new weapons and armor and stuff like that. The mix of trying to make it both functional and awesome looking is always a challenge. I like this one though.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eLZjdsasP2M/T2fY1-yIUKI/AAAAAAAAAVU/NVgeWmNpQIQ/s1600/crossbow-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eLZjdsasP2M/T2fY1-yIUKI/AAAAAAAAAVU/NVgeWmNpQIQ/s320/crossbow-90.jpg" width="210" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
This is my crossbow. It is an energy crossbow. So there are no strings to recoil. I took the idea from the old 80s cartoon Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. The leader had an energy bow and well I thought it would be cool to have that in a cross bow. So the bow and the propulsion for the arrows would all be powered by the energy canister in the back of the crossbow.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8j78QOKUAdo/T2fY2SJvtwI/AAAAAAAAAVc/PJB7pAXDfeU/s1600/extra-play-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8j78QOKUAdo/T2fY2SJvtwI/AAAAAAAAAVc/PJB7pAXDfeU/s320/extra-play-90.jpg" width="209" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is know as Extra Play. I like this card because it gives the caster the ability to roll two d20 for the next couple of turns. It could really change the outcome of the entire match. I have created a lot of these kind of cards. Dark Legacy is all about strategy. You have to try and anticipate what your opponent is going to do so that you can counter and then attack with something powerful of your own. This card could make that happen.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BhmE9-BkTIs/T2fY22h3zYI/AAAAAAAAAVk/zHYwcGdgXAs/s1600/flare-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BhmE9-BkTIs/T2fY22h3zYI/AAAAAAAAAVk/zHYwcGdgXAs/s320/flare-90.jpg" width="216" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a flare. This card is a low level fire spell. It only does one or two damage. It has a low casting cost as well as a low skill level. This is a good card to have in your deck when you are just starting out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CNNarGvojJc/T2fY3DVfAmI/AAAAAAAAAVs/fBHjvO6W_84/s1600/nemril's-opticals-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CNNarGvojJc/T2fY3DVfAmI/AAAAAAAAAVs/fBHjvO6W_84/s320/nemril's-opticals-90.jpg" width="216" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Nemril's Opticals. This is the legendary sorcerer Nemril. He is the most feared and respected sorcerer on Titan. It is believe that he is of 2000 years old and that he knows all. His spell book is one of the most sought after objects in existance. This card is about his opticals that allow the player to l<span style="font-size: 12pt;">ook at the next five cards from your deck and
put into your hand. Choose five cards to keep and put the rest into the Bone
Yard.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"><br /></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yTQEsNWsiM4/T2fY3cVOrXI/AAAAAAAAAV0/yvODPcMINmo/s1600/pupet-master-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yTQEsNWsiM4/T2fY3cVOrXI/AAAAAAAAAV0/yvODPcMINmo/s320/pupet-master-90.jpg" width="225" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is one of my favorite cards. This is the Puppet Master. He has the ability to activate or deactivate any card, which can come into handy for any player. The ability to either stop a creature from attacking or blocking or even the ability to turn off an enhancement or ability makes for a very powerful card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VGXw-ljlaow/T2fY3x_-5EI/AAAAAAAAAV8/7sS8uWgf2H8/s1600/sorceress-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VGXw-ljlaow/T2fY3x_-5EI/AAAAAAAAAV8/7sS8uWgf2H8/s320/sorceress-90.jpg" width="222" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the first card that I did with Elvin Hernandez. He is a fantastic artist and he had allowed me to use some of the drawing that he did for Dark Legacy. So he does the drawings and then I do the colors. I am very happy with the way this came out. I was worried at first because I don't always trust myself to have the image look right when I am working over someone else's work. I just don't want to screw that up. But, as I mentioned I am very happy with the way this turned out. Hope you like it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9YytEQ2m3PU/T2fY4CEZ1GI/AAAAAAAAAWA/buSzyjhg0q8/s1600/warhammer-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9YytEQ2m3PU/T2fY4CEZ1GI/AAAAAAAAAWA/buSzyjhg0q8/s320/warhammer-90.jpg" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The last one here is the War Hammer. It as a weapon that was designed for pure destruction. A one handed weapon that could both shatter and then puncture as well. This weapon is great to have in battle and would be a great addition to anyone arsenal.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There you have it eight cards for this week. I am going to try for ten again this week. Wish me luck I am going to need it. Thanks for stopping by and viewing my work.</div>

<br />Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-74052562215133118782012-03-11T23:17:00.000-04:002012-03-11T23:17:55.464-04:00Week two of the challengeHello Everyone,<br />
<br />
This marks the end of week two of this challenge. So 14 of the 90 days are over. I have to say that this week was a bit more challenging than the first. I don't know what it was. Maybe it is the pain in my foot or the fact that the weather has been very nice in the last couple of days. I have no idea what it is but for some reason this week was very hard to get some work done.<br />
<br />
With that said I was able to make the minimum of 7 cards. Not as impressive as the 10 I did last week, but non the less I was able to make the mark. I guess I am just going to have to be happy with that. I still have a long way to go but I do believe that I am going to be able to kick it into high gear and really crank out some of these cards. The coming weeks should be very interesting for me to say the least.<br />
<br />
Well I think that is enough blabber. On to the cards.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Qm2Url4Vkro/T11kwIFMIfI/AAAAAAAAAUU/rQsrIwacj5I/s1600/battle-axe-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Qm2Url4Vkro/T11kwIFMIfI/AAAAAAAAAUU/rQsrIwacj5I/s320/battle-axe-90.jpg" width="208" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my version of a Battle Ax. I really like the was this came out. There is something about the curve of the handle that makes me really like it. There isn't really much that makes this interesting is just has a nice appeal to me.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-V01kbiEvL7k/T11kwVMQW5I/AAAAAAAAAUc/Cty_k3Ly4DY/s1600/casting-box-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-V01kbiEvL7k/T11kwVMQW5I/AAAAAAAAAUc/Cty_k3Ly4DY/s320/casting-box-90.jpg" width="211" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Casting Box allows a player to store up to five casting points. It is a very useful card and it will be available to everyone because it is one of the common cards. I think that it is a pretty simple box design that is repeated and this is what makes it cool. Something that would look very simple has the ability to hold so much power.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qIL4kK3kb4U/T11kw-MnqWI/AAAAAAAAAUk/MgW9ruCLTZU/s1600/casting-vault-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qIL4kK3kb4U/T11kw-MnqWI/AAAAAAAAAUk/MgW9ruCLTZU/s320/casting-vault-90.jpg" width="224" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is the Casting Vault. This is a rare card and has the ability to hold 20 casting points. In a game where the player is bound by a d20, having and extra 20 casting points won't hurt anyone. I created this card with the thought in mind that the vault might just be a living creature and that is why is it is rare cards. In the planet of Titan there are only so many of these creatures running around and to be able to find one let alone tame one is close to impossible.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eHxylb3bjJ0/T11kxj38jMI/AAAAAAAAAUs/99TVz2Ooll0/s1600/cyber-hammer-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eHxylb3bjJ0/T11kxj38jMI/AAAAAAAAAUs/99TVz2Ooll0/s320/cyber-hammer-90.jpg" width="194" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Cyber hammer is an enhancement to the Hero. This card would allow you to deal greater amounts of damage even if you did't have a weapon on hand. Nothing like a little cybernetic modification to make you a better fighter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZOJq4uAqls8/T11kyF2lupI/AAAAAAAAAU0/b4IvWwfRTZI/s1600/cyber-knuckles-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZOJq4uAqls8/T11kyF2lupI/AAAAAAAAAU0/b4IvWwfRTZI/s320/cyber-knuckles-90.jpg" width="202" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is Cyber Knuckles. It does the same thing as the Cyber Hammer, but it is a bit weaker. It is also more common, so it would be easier to obtain. I like this one because I made it to look like a futuristic knight. Or at least that is what I thought it looked like. I guess I should show this to my son, he loves knights. He could be the deciding factor on weather or not it looks like a futuristic knight.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my version of an EMP. I know that his is not what most people think of when they think of an EMP, but as I mentioned this is my version. This is a global enhancement card. It gives all tech creatures a -1/-1. It could be very useful if fighting an all tech deck. Just something to keep in mind.</div>

Ah the Reaper. I really like this gun. I would really like to see this as an actually toy or something like that. This gun would be know as an unloader. It has a longer clip so that it could unload a crap ton of bullets in a matter of seconds. If memory serves me right this card has the most bullet tokens out of all the guns. It is pretty fun weapon to have.</div>

Well that is all from me. Thanks for coming and looking at what I was able to get done this week. Like I mentioned earlier, I hope to have more cards too look at next week. I don't really like only being able to do the bare minimum. So onward to working faster so that I can get more cards done.</div>
<br />
If you have any thoughts or comments please don't hesitate to drop me an email or add a comment on the blog. I really do want to know what you think.<br />

Do you think that I made it? Yea, I wasn't so sure I was going to be able to make it either. As always a lot of things happened that tried to get me to fail right out of the gate. As soon as I posted about doing this 90 day challenge I got an email for Toys R Us asking me to do work. Of course I said yes, which meant that I really had to work my time management skills.<br /><br />There is also some other work that I am doing for a couple of other companies. As soon as I can, I will show everyone what I have been working on for those other companies.<br /><br />I did make it, just in case you were still wondering if I did.. I even did better than I thought I would. I was able to finish 10 cards in seven days. I might have been able to finish a couple more but there were things that were a bit more important to me than staying up all night to pump out more cards. Now next week might be a different story but I just don't know.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think that is enough babble on to the cards.<br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_Sf0KQ9TdPQ/T1Q0TbQq5ZI/AAAAAAAAATA/RneLXkGQrL4/s1600/bionic-legs-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_Sf0KQ9TdPQ/T1Q0TbQq5ZI/AAAAAAAAATA/RneLXkGQrL4/s320/bionic-legs-90.jpg" width="197" /></a><br /><br />This was the first card that I did in the week. I wanted to start off with something a bit easier. This one is called Bionic Legs. Nothing too advanced in concept just a pair of bionic legs. Once this card is activated the Hero is able to hit creatures with flying.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2fN2neX_YyM/T1Q0TztYu9I/AAAAAAAAATI/FKYKbkOitdg/s1600/boomerangblade-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2fN2neX_YyM/T1Q0TztYu9I/AAAAAAAAATI/FKYKbkOitdg/s320/boomerangblade-90.jpg" width="224" /></a><br /><br />This is one of my favorite weapons is Dark Legacy thus far. This is the Boomerang Blade. This is the weapon that Oz uses. This is a pretty big weapon. It is a tree cutter if used right. The idea behind this weapon is that it uses magic to insure that it comes back in such a way that is won't cut you in half. The orange magic coming out of the handle is what make the weapon come back. It is like a very powerful magnet. Hey, I thought it was a cool idea.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LuNQc7UsFqQ/T1Q0UBQdfvI/AAAAAAAAATQ/zeDP8I7OB5c/s1600/enhanced-solider-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LuNQc7UsFqQ/T1Q0UBQdfvI/AAAAAAAAATQ/zeDP8I7OB5c/s320/enhanced-solider-90.jpg" width="320" /></a><br /><br />This is the Enhanced Solider. I didn't want to over do it with the enhancements. This card isn't that strong so I wanted him to look more human than robot. I think that the character says fighter and still has a bit of an advantage over the people who are not enhanced.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-v-neeXy-G1w/T1Q0UlgtsUI/AAAAAAAAATY/W7hnN7ItT3E/s1600/necklace-of-knowledge-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-v-neeXy-G1w/T1Q0UlgtsUI/AAAAAAAAATY/W7hnN7ItT3E/s320/necklace-of-knowledge-90.jpg" width="216" /></a><br /><br />This is the Necklace of Knowledge. This card allows you to look at the next card in your deck. Nothing to fancy but it could prove very helpful in a strategic move to end the game</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DmZIQn2A52k/T1Q0U5eQkxI/AAAAAAAAATg/GzkLIbWgh6E/s1600/psyhic-motivator-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DmZIQn2A52k/T1Q0U5eQkxI/AAAAAAAAATg/GzkLIbWgh6E/s320/psyhic-motivator-90.jpg" width="195" /></a><br /><br />This is the Psychic Motivator. To tell you the truth when I was creating this image I was thinking that there was a creature within the rock and that is its eye in the middle. So, the creature within the rock was able to talk to you telepathically and make you do things that will benefit the creature. Once again I thought it was a cool idea.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KNmXILWTgiU/T1Q0VPlX-EI/AAAAAAAAATo/FucrvC-LZ6s/s1600/ratakarna's-puzzle-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KNmXILWTgiU/T1Q0VPlX-EI/AAAAAAAAATo/FucrvC-LZ6s/s320/ratakarna's-puzzle-90.jpg" width="211" /></a><br /><br />This is Ratakarna's puzzle. This one took longer than it should have. I was making it so that all the pieces can actually go together. So if someone was to really make this puzzle it would actually go together. I have to say that I don't know if it was worth all the time that I put into the thought process, but none the less I like how this one came out. And, knowing that it would actually fit together is just something cool that I get to say to people now.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-90TKMLhXqtg/T1Q0ViaonaI/AAAAAAAAATw/PqmjZw7Q0DE/s1600/rock-form-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-90TKMLhXqtg/T1Q0ViaonaI/AAAAAAAAATw/PqmjZw7Q0DE/s320/rock-form-90.jpg" width="213" /></a><br /><br />This is Rock Form. Nothing to daring here. Just thought I should make the rock warmer instead of the normal cool blue rock that I have done in the past. I used some complementary colors to make it work better. I do like how the green pushes the creature forwards.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-N4RpkoUM6jw/T1Q0V22qMnI/AAAAAAAAAT4/M58yjEhpG9g/s1600/spiderx25-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-N4RpkoUM6jw/T1Q0V22qMnI/AAAAAAAAAT4/M58yjEhpG9g/s320/spiderx25-90.jpg" width="208" /></a><br /><br />This weapon is called the Spider X-25. It has been a weapon that has been in my head for some time. I have to say that this version makes a lot more sense than any of the others that I drew out. The first designs were all about making a rifle that could split into two different guns. That's right I said split. What can I say I was young and thought that it would be awesome if that could work. Alas now that I am older I just don't see how that would work. So I made my version of an assault riffle with a M203 attachment.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-A8iiVs3WbtQ/T1Q0WYLMewI/AAAAAAAAAUA/1rRcCv7mD8I/s1600/thermal+vision-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-A8iiVs3WbtQ/T1Q0WYLMewI/AAAAAAAAAUA/1rRcCv7mD8I/s320/thermal+vision-90.jpg" width="227" /></a><br /><br />Thermal Vision should have been easy, but after looking at a lot of pictures I just didn't think that I had it right. I actually had to use some of the filters that Photoshop has in order to get the effect that I wanted. I am not a big user of the filters, but in this case it just worked.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JlQVeA2fkvw/T1Q0W8J7caI/AAAAAAAAAUI/4T4sJ6WyJYE/s1600/vampire-90.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JlQVeA2fkvw/T1Q0W8J7caI/AAAAAAAAAUI/4T4sJ6WyJYE/s320/vampire-90.jpg" width="230" /></a><br /><br />This is my Vampire card. This card started out as something completely different. Then I realized that I had already made that card so I did some tweaks, toned down the skin color added some fangs, that you might not even be able to see but they are there, and just tried be make it a bit creepy. I like this card, especially after it was supposed to be something completely different.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

There you have it, my 10 cards for the week. I am very happy with my progress on the challenge. I hope that I will be able to keep it up. Thank you for looking and don't forget to come back next week and see what I was able to finish in the next seven days.<br /><br />Thanks<br />Kaiser</div>

<br />
I know it has been a long time and I keep saying that I am going to post more often. Well I am saying it again, but this time I have more to talk about. I am getting closer and closer to the release date of Dark Legacy. So I want to make sure that I put as much art out there as possible. Here is what I have in mind<br /><br />For the next 87 days, it was 90 but I started three days ago, I am going try and finish at least one card a day, and every Sunday I am going to post on the final product of that week here. I am going to talk about what I did and tell you any other thoughts I might have. For instance<br /><br />Two weeks ago I was at MegaCon in Orlando. It is a con that I have been going to for 12 years straight. That's right 12 years and counting. I have to say that I had a good experience. Business was good. I was able to get some more interest for Dark Legacy and I met Stefan Price.<br /><br />Stefan Price has a SFX and Prop building company known as Roundtable Productions. They have done prop and SFX for Disney and Universal in Orlando. He came by my table and was telling me about what he would like to do in the future. I was very intrigued so we talked for quite some time and then came up with an idea to make a replica of the sword that Tyoshi from Dark Legacy uses. You heard right he wants to make the sword of my tech ninja. Man I was like a giddy school girl when he told me that you could actually make the sword. I know that Stefan would love to make custom props for Cosplayers and anyone who would like something cool made that they have designed.<br /><br />If you are interested in something like this check out his website<br /><br />www.roundtableprops.com or Mechanical Oddities at Etsy.com<br /><br />I think I am going to end it here. It seems as though I stopped at a pretty good point. I need to leave myself something to say on Sunday. Make sure you check back on Sunday evening or Monday morning to see what I was able to accomplish in a week.<br /><br />Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you come back<br />KaiserBryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-12068704260622350592011-12-01T22:47:00.001-05:002011-12-01T22:48:49.249-05:00Hello Everyone,<br />
<br />
Today marks my 90 day blitz for Dark Legacy. I am going to be busting my tail within the next 90 days in order to finish Dark Legacy. I have no idea how much I am going to get done but I am hoping to finish up the project within the next 90 days.<br />
<br />
So, for those of you who are actually watching this blog. There is going to be a lot more activity going on here within the next 90 days.<br />
<br />
Thanks for coming by and be on the look out for more work.<br />KaiserBryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-70310219247949525492011-10-20T11:56:00.001-04:002011-10-20T11:56:40.815-04:00Hello Everyone,<br />
<br />
I know that I promised some updates on art. Here you go. Wait! Before we do that why don't we talk about the post I did a couple days ago on Facebook. I said that I will be working for Marvel. Well, I am going to be doing sketch cards for their new upcoming sets called Marvel Beginnings and Avengers the Movie. I was very happy when I was approached with this opportunity. I am still waiting on the actual cards to come in but my excitement is still very high.<br />
<br />
OK on to the art.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WXGQO4orSZ0/TqBAvVokE6I/AAAAAAAAARs/r79xfvb1coA/s1600/aura-boost-web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WXGQO4orSZ0/TqBAvVokE6I/AAAAAAAAARs/r79xfvb1coA/s320/aura-boost-web.jpg" width="206" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This one is called aura boost. Simple idea. There is a little guy at the bottom and he his able to project his aura up into the sky. I am looking forward to finishing this one, it should look pretty cool once colored. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ED5LVG0OML0/TqBA9mK01TI/AAAAAAAAAR0/TaVuBq-KD_o/s1600/unholy-song-web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ED5LVG0OML0/TqBA9mK01TI/AAAAAAAAAR0/TaVuBq-KD_o/s320/unholy-song-web.jpg" width="207" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This on is the unholy song. This one is going to look really different once it is done. I have a great idea for the finish, but I don't really want to tell you about it, because that would ruin all the anticipation for this card.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QvosERxwdoY/TqBA-MOLXyI/AAAAAAAAAR8/2IAfjkuGJss/s1600/wind-spike-web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QvosERxwdoY/TqBA-MOLXyI/AAAAAAAAAR8/2IAfjkuGJss/s320/wind-spike-web.jpg" width="207" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the wind spike. I had a lot of problems with this one. The pose that I originally had just wasn't working. I was trying to erase a hole into the image. My wife told me about myself and then I decided to start over and this is what came from that. A lot of this image is relying on color. So, come back and keep an eye out for that.</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PnfyJj5qJeM/TqBA-y-Y1EI/AAAAAAAAASE/JKYNn9DVkVg/s1600/mystery-box-web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PnfyJj5qJeM/TqBA-y-Y1EI/AAAAAAAAASE/JKYNn9DVkVg/s320/mystery-box-web.jpg" width="207" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The mystery box. Don't know what to say about this one besides that it is a mystery and it is a box.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-S9RzNYrxrpI/TqBA_gJEOTI/AAAAAAAAASM/B7_GdJ5O8Ho/s1600/rewind-web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-S9RzNYrxrpI/TqBA_gJEOTI/AAAAAAAAASM/B7_GdJ5O8Ho/s320/rewind-web.jpg" width="207" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This one is called rewind. I have to tell you that it is really hard, or at least it was for me, to draw the idea of rewind. I started with the two triangles that you find on dvd players and well that just look boring. So I came up this. The idea that this grown man got reduced to a child and the only way we see the grown man in in the kids shadow.</div>
<br />Bryan "Kaiser" Tillmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17403226059728975652noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630797876512896725.post-41599100327511117242011-10-17T16:10:00.001-04:002011-10-17T16:10:08.185-04:00Hello Everyone,<br />
<br />
My once a week updates have once again fell off. This time at least I have a good reason for it. I have been working on a project with Elvin Herenadez. We have been working with Toys R Us on their new toy line. It is called True Heroes: L.A.S.E.R. Here is a link to what we have already done.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.toysrus.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=11682137#/page/1">http://www.toysrus.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=11682137#/page/1</a><br />
<br />
So I have been very busy working on that. I have now got ahead of the deadline so that I can do some other things on the side. Last week I was able to do some Dark Legacy work. I will be posting that with my next blog post.<br /><br />For some reason my images have been linking to the thumbnail. So I am going to try and fix that for the next round of image updates. So I am sorry about that. Even though that was going on I got a really good critique from an old friend. It was good to hear a real critique for once. There were good things and bad things, but in the end I felt as though I was able to grow a bit in my work. Speaking of growing. One of the pieces that i am going to put up later was critiqued by my wife. She made some very strong comments which at first didn't sit with me very well, and I am sure that she could see it on my face, but once I was able to understand what she meant by what she said I realized she was right. I was doing something with my figure work that I wasn't even aware of. So I have to thank her for that.<br />
<br />
I am glad to know that I have a person in my life that is able to give me the hard facts about my work and when I get huffy and puffy, she doesn't just walk away and say whatever. She is awesome.<br />
<br />
I guess that is enough talk. I just wanted to give you an update.<br />
See you soon<br />
